In memory of the Queen, the Royal Family has published a compilation with pictures of the deceased. The video shows Elizabeth II from childhood to old age.

London – Shortly before the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II, the royal family said goodbye to the queen with a series of pictures.

The compilation published on Monday showed numerous images from the life of the monarch, including Elizabeth as a baby, in military service during World War II, with her husband Prince Philip and other family members. The Queen smiled in most of the photos. The final point is a portrait of the laughing queen, which the palace had only published the previous evening.

“Honoring our Queen,” tweeted the official Royal Family account. “Today people from the UK, the Commonwealth and around the world will pay tribute to the extraordinary life and reign of Her Majesty The Queen.”

The state act in London’s Westminster Abbey was scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. (CEST). dpa
