Ruth Moschner makes fun of Uli Hoeneß and Alfons Schuhbeck

Ruth Moschner rarely minces her words: the TV presenter shot Uli Hoeneß and Alfons Schuhbeck on Instagram. The reason for this is the tax affairs of the FC Bayern icon and the celebrity chef.

Munich – Things got really tight for Uli Hoeneß (70) in 2013: the then FC Bayern President saw himself – in front of the public – accused of tax evasion. After a sensational trial, the 1974 soccer world champion finally went behind bars – a fate that now also threatens his buddy Alfons Schuhbeck (73), who is currently on trial. A joint photo, which moderator Ruth Moschner (46) also shared on social media, is now fatal for the two.

Old advertising photo flies in the face of Uli Hoeneß and Alfons Schuhbeck – Ruth Moschner laughs with them

In 2011, years before the tax allegations against Uli Hoeneß and Alfons Schuhbeck came up, the two entrepreneurs made a deal with a well-known fast food chain that attracted a great deal of attention from the media. Two hamburgers were created for a limited special offer, which were advertised during the “Hüttengaudi” special offer weeks. The two men, who are closely associated with FC Bayern, had no idea that a photo in which the two presented their product in a branch would cause ridicule on the Internet more than a decade later.

Because Alfons Schuhbeck, who is said to have misled the tax office, is now being tried, a resourceful network user took the picture from the archive and titled it mockingly: “For every menu there are now tax-saving tips from Munich financial experts”, is emblazoned above the snapshot shared not only by numerous Internet users, but also by ProSieben celebrity Ruth Moschner. The 46-year-old can only laugh at the duo’s financial missteps.

Tax evasion runs into the billions – every year!

It is not known how much money is actually smuggled past the tax authorities in the Federal Republic each year. However, estimates give cause for concern: Thomas Eigenthaler from the German tax union stated in an interview with Deutschlandfunk in 2019 that he assumed a “loss per year in Germany of around 50 billion euros”. However, this estimate is trending upwards.

Ruth Moschner shares a “really bad” picture – criticism of Hoeneß and Schuhbeck from fans too

“Bad, really bad,” wrote Ruth Moschner about her Hoeneß-Schuhbeck contribution, which collected over 1000 likes within an hour. In the comments on the post, however, a mixture of amusement, anger and incomprehension could be read: “How can you not get your fill enough?” One user got angry, another then put down because of Uli Hoeneß’s recent reaction to Qatar critics ironically: “In addition, the gentleman on the left is also the human rights officer of FC Bayern Munich.”

A third comment said: “But someone is still missing, also [a] Bayern fan who now lives in England.” What is meant is Boris Becker, who is said to have developed in an exemplary manner after his conviction in prison, like an insider recently revealed. Sources used: instagram.com/ruthmoschner, tz.de
