A man from Plettenberg had an unusual encounter in the Allgäu. Chancellor Olaf Scholz stopped off at a hut after a hike. There was a photo – and a popular “you”.
Bad Kissingen/Plettenberg (NRW) – It’s Monday, shortly before lunchtime at the Bad Kissinger Hütte, when a slightly older, balding man comes up to the counter. Service employee Karin asks the man: “And what do you want to drink?” The man orders an elderberry spritzer, which he later eats at the beer tent set on the outside terrace with spinach dumplings.
“The man who looked like all the hikers here seemed somehow familiar to Karin”; says the Sauerland Stefan Knoche from Plettenberg. No wonder, because the mountain hiker was Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) – and come-on.de knows how the meeting at 1792 meters went.
