"Sissi" on TV at Christmas 2021: an overview of all broadcast dates for the cult films

For many Germans, the “Sissi” films are part of Christmas. The cult trilogy will also run live on TV and live stream in 2021. An overview of all broadcast dates.

Frankfurt – Every year at Christmas time, the “Sissi” films draw millions of people in front of the television. Fans of the cult trilogy can already hardly wait for Romy Schneider’s wistful voice to call the name of her beloved emperor through the corridors of Schönbrunn Palace and for him to return a whisper “Sissi”.

The romantic-kitschy love drama in front of the idyllic scenery of Austria with its gold-adorned costumes has been creating a feel-good atmosphere on the Christmas holidays for more than 65 years. The classic will be broadcast again this year – at prime time.
