“Stranger Things” house becomes a spooky Airbnb
The house of the Byers family from “Stranger Things” has been for sale on a real estate portal for a few weeks. Now an unknown buyer is said to have offered $600,000 for the property from the series – it was originally advertised for only $300,000. The new owner plans to turn the Byers house into a spooky Airbnb. It should already be available for booking on the platform for the upcoming Halloween. The deal must therefore be closed quickly, but the purchase is not yet done.
The Byers house does indeed offer spooky potential and a cult factor for “Stranger Things” fans. Among other things, the legendary chain of lights scene took place there, in which Joyce Byers communicated with her missing son. If it were up to the unknown buyer, he could imagine buying exactly such “Stranger Things” objects, as t3n.de reports. Among other things, the trailer of Eddie Munson from the fourth season. Sufficient space is available for this, so guided tours would also be possible.
Another house from “Stranger Things” is offered on Airbnb
However, the Byers house from the first seasons is very old. It was built in 1900 and is actually located in Fayetteville, Georgia. So the new owner will have to do some renovation work before it can actually be offered as an Airbnb.
However, another house from “Stranger Things” can also be found on the portal – and this is also about the characters Will, Jonathan and Joyce Byers. Her new home from season four is offered on Airbnb and offers, among other things, space for 14 guests for around $400 a night. The house is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
