Breastfeeding is the ideal food for newborns and infants up to six months of life. Subsequently, it is also the perfect food, but accompanied by other foods to cover all nutritional needs. But it is not only complete from a nutritional point of view; breastfed babies have a lower risk of diseases such as asthma, type 2 diabetes, obesity or atopic dermatitis.

The human papillomavirus is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the world. It is spread by skin-to-skin contact and its effects are of different severity, depending on the virulence of the virus. Gingivitis, a common condition during pregnancy, is a form of periodontal disease that involves inflammation and bleeding of the gums, due to the infection that destroys the supporting tissues of the teeth (gums, periodontal ligaments and alveolar bone).

During pregnancy, many women are scared when they notice changes in their vaginal mucosa, as the discharge increases and an increased body odor may also appear. On some occasions, these symptoms make the pregnant woman believe that she has a vaginal infection or even that her hygiene is not being adequate.

One of the most common infections in pregnancy is urinary tract infection, known as cystitis, which is suffered by about 10 percent of pregnant women.
