Nokia has just applied for a patent on a magnetic tattoo that vibrates when the phone rings or receives a text message or email . As described by the Finnish firm in a registry carried out in the United States Patent Office, the material, made from ferromagnetic inks , perceives the activity of the mobile phone with which it is synchronized thanks to the fact that it is capable of detecting the fields magnetic around it. And it transfers a gentle but noticeable stimulus to the skin in which it is immersed when it detects a call, receives a message, the battery is too low or there is an event in the calendar of the mobile device that we should remember (birthday, meeting, etc.) .
In principle, the procedure to apply the Nokia vibrating tattoo would be identical to that of any normal tattoo, since the only difference lies in its composition. Even “invisible” ink could be used.
