Ternate – In Indonesia, a teenager was attacked and killed by a crocodile while fishing. The attack occurred on Ternate in the Molucca archipelago.
The 15-year-old was fishing with friends in a lake when the crocodile caught him and pulled him into the water, the head of the local rescue services said on Friday. The attack happened on Tuesday. However, search parties did not discover remains of the boy until Thursday.
An eyewitness said on TV that the body could only be recovered later because it was surrounded by several crocodiles. The Moluccas are located between Sulawesi and New Guinea. dpa
