Washington / Dallas – In a hospital in the US state of Texas, a man opened fire and shot two employees at the facility. District Judge Clay Jenkins said the crime happened near the delivery room on Saturday morning (local time). The shooter was then shot and arrested by the police.
The Dallas United Methodist Hospital said it was “heartbroken” at the loss of two loved ones. “We are grateful for the support of the community during this difficult time.” Patients and employees were no longer in danger after the attack. The background to the fact was initially unclear. dpa
