The team at Flickr , the most used social network for sharing images, has compiled a list of the five most popular photos posted by its users. A lightning bolt splitting a tree in two, the close-up of a fly in flight or a New York skyline on the fourth anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers are some of the snapshots that have conquered the users of the platform. In the “Top 5” of Flickr photos, the Asian continent is also represented in a spectacular snapshot in which the consequences of the tides of the China Sea are reflected. In fifth position according to the number of visits is an autumn landscape in Magreglio, in the heart of Italian Lombardy.
To create this list, Flickr has taken into account both the number of times the photos have been viewed and the social media activity it has generated, the number of comments on the image or how many people have added each photo to their favorites list.
