The Mexican economy will lose strength in 2023, Banxico predicts

The Bank of Mexico (Banxico) estimated this Wednesday a lower growth for the national economy in 2023.

Faced with a reduction in global economic expectations, Banxico reduced its growth forecasts for the country to 1.6% from a previously estimated 2.4%.

For this year, expectations remain at 2.2%.
