The first official trailer for the Super Mario Bros movie has finally been released. This material, by Illumination, was revealed during a Nintendo Direct and also broadcast at New York Comic Con. Find out when the tape comes out and watch its first trailer.

During the trailer, we first see Bowser, Mario, Toad, and Luigi, along with a group of Koopas, Kamek, and Dry Bones. We also get to hear many of these characters for the first time.
In the Direct, Illumination CEO and founder Christopher Meledandri said that the animation for the film will be finished within a week and that the team is working on lighting and other effects; the film will be recorded in just 11 days.
When does Mario Bros the movie come out?
The Mario Bros movie will be released on April 7 in North America. So far, the release date for Latin America has not been revealed.
Which actors participate?
The Super Mario Bros Movie is produced by Illumination, the studio that also produced Minions and Despicable Me.
The film is directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, who previously collaborated on the Teen Titans Go animated films. The writer of The Lego Movie 2 and Minions: a villain is born. Matthew Fogel wrote the screenplay for Mario Movie, produced by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Illumination’s Chris Meledandri.
