There is no one to steal this bike!

When the Dutch brothers Taco and Ties Carlier created their bicycle company Van Moof about a decade ago, they had in mind to design simple machines – low maintenance, easy to carry, light – to extend the massive use of their Amsterdam bike. native to the rest of the cities of the world.

They have done so, and in addition, they have now created a bike loaded with technology that will make it very difficult to steal it.

Your Electrified S is a thief's nightmare. Its frame integrates a GPS locator that Van Moof monitors for free. If it is stolen, inform them and they will contact the police themselves once they have located the bike. The GPS device is charged with the energy you generate by pedaling.

It is not your only security technology. It includes an app that connects the bike with your smartphone via Bluetooth. You can use the app to unlock the Electrified S's anti-theft chain, which has no key. If someone tries to force the chain, a signal is generated and transmitted to Van Moof.

Apart from these measures against sausages, the bicycle is an electric beauty – one of the lightest that exists, with its 18.4 kilos of weight – with a 250 W motor that can launch you at 32 km / h. It is fully charged in six hours and gives for 120 kilometers of travel, as long as it does not exceed 16 km / h.
