This is the browser that best protects your privacy on the Internet

DuckDuckGo browser 's privacy-focused internet search engine promises users a private browsing experience, no ad trackers, and smarter encryption, all for free. In the age of data leaks, privacy concerns, and cyberattacks that leave millions of people's data at the mercy of the deep web, the company meets the growing desire of users to be protected while surfing the web.

DuckDuckGo had more than 50 million app downloads and saw a 55% increase in traffic for all of last year, according to a report from website SpreadPrivacy.com. The search engine and the settings it implements are another tool you can add to your digital privacy arsenal, such as Apple's untracking notice and Secure Sign In feature.

In addition to its own private search engine, DuckDuckGo offers a privacy-focused browser app for iOS and Android, as well as a Chrome extension. If you prefer not to download the app or extension, you can also go to duckduckgo.com and do your searches there, just like you do on Google.
