In preparation for his role in Uncharted, the Spider-Man star worked as a bartender for a while. However, he was not to remain undercover for long.
LONDON – Hollywood star Tom Holland, 25, worked incognito in a London bar for a while to prepare for his role in the film ‘Uncharted.’
“I went there and put on the bartender clothes and went undercover there. It was fun,” the Briton told US radio station Sirius XM. Before taking shifts at the bar, he took a bartender course, Holland said.
“As word got around town and people started realizing that apparently Tom Holland was making the drinks at this bar, so did the manager,” he said. “And then I kind of ended up getting fired.”
In the theatrical adaptation of the PlayStation game Uncharted, the Spider-Man star plays Nathan Drake, who earns his living as a bartender. Together with his mentor Victor Sullivan, played by Mark Wahlberg, he embarks on an adventurous journey around the world to find a lost pot of gold. The film by director Ruben Fleischer has been in German cinemas since Thursday (February 17). dpa
