A tornado washes several people into the water in Kiel. Several are seriously injured.

Shortly afterwards he received a short message from his son who was on his way to rowing training at the club, he told the German press agency. First report from Wednesday, 09/29/2021, 9:30 p.m.: Kiel – There are several injured people on the Baltic Sea after they were washed into the water by a tornado. “You have been completely mixed up and people have fallen into the water,” said a spokesman for the fire department. According to current information, a total of seven people were injured in the extreme weather event. Six of them were taken to hospital, with three of them being seriously injured.

The assumption that the storm was a tornado comes from the German Weather Service (DWD): “Based on pictures, we assume that it was a tornado,” said a spokesman for the authority.
