Unattractive due to Corona? Hamburg is no longer one of Germany's most popular cities

Other cities have overtaken Hamburg in the city ranking. The Hanseatic city is no longer one of Germany's top 10 most popular cities. Others that's why.

Hamburg – The Hanseatic City of Hamburg is lagging behind. Last year it was in 9th place in the city rankings of “Wirtschaftswoche” and “immoscout24”, but this year it has disappeared from the top 10.
The city-state was only able to achieve 11th place. 24hamburg.de * reveals why this is the case and what Corona has to do with it.

Hamburg can still score points in areas such as tourism and with an above-average number of daycare places. There are also many high school graduates and start-ups who make the city attractive. Elsewhere, however, Hamburg has a lot of catching up to do. Crime is high in the Hanseatic city. Old-age poverty, youth unemployment and sluggish development in terms of the employment rate for women, for example, are also becoming a disadvantage for the Hanseatic city. The clear winner in many areas is Munich. The Bavarian metropolis made it to number 1 among the most popular cities in Germany for the ninth time. * 24hamburg.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
