Everywhere in Germany people in Germany have to reckon with showers and thunderstorms on Sunday even with heavy rain at the weekend. Will it be better on Monday?

Offenbach – Unstable and windy weather determines the weekend. The German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced that showers, short thunderstorms and possible gusts of wind should be expected nationwide on Saturday. Small-grain hail can also be part of it. Temperatures can rise up to 18 degrees during short bright spells. Otherwise the values in the rain are around 13 degrees.

According to the metrologists’ forecast, there will be heavy rainfall on Sunday night and during the day. It stays windy. On the coast and on the mountains, the westerly to north-westerly wind is still stormy. The maximum values are 14 to 18 degrees.

The weather will calm down again on Monday. According to the DWD, showers with gusts of wind are still expected in the north-east and east. In the south-east, the precipitation decreases. In the western half of Germany, the sun will increasingly be seen again. The temperature is approaching the 20-degree mark again during the day in the west and south-west. dpa
