The preparations for the planned cannabis legalization are becoming more concrete. A key issues paper by the Ministry of Health was published yesterday, which outlines the traffic light coalition’s previous plans for the “controlled sale of cannabis to adults for recreational purposes in licensed shops”. Among other things, the purchase and possession of up to 20 grams should be exempt from punishment and cannabis should no longer be classified as a narcotic.
