Cologne – After weeks of drought in NRW, rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms will follow from the middle of the third week of August, according to the German Weather Service. During the night of Wednesday, August 17th, local showers will occur west of the Rhine – persistent rain is expected on Thursday.
