Anaphrodisia or sexual anorexia is a disorder related to a low interest in sex . People with sexual anorexia have a lack of desire, difficulty reaching orgasm, and even pain during sexual intercourse.
The causes of this lack of sexual libido or inhibited sexual desire can be both physical and psychological and are fundamentally based on the fear of rejection by the partner, having low self-esteem and feeling that we have no physical attractiveness, difficulty in manifesting desires sexual or denial of own pleasure and even love.
People who suffer from this disorder will reject the possibility of having sex whenever possible and if they do, they do not enjoy it. When the sexual appetite is blocked, the frequency of intercourse is considerably reduced and even disappears.
