According to the 2012 Global Security Report, prepared by Trustwave, the time when the highest amount of malicious mail is received is between 8 and 9 in the morning . This is the conclusion they have reached after observing the correlation between time slots and the sending of computer viruses from a series of data collected from 16 million emails received between 2008 and 2011 in 18 countries.
The report also reveals that the month of the year in which more viruses are sent is August (although many do not open these emails until September), and that the most used password is "Password1".
