WhatsApp will now offer the possibility of doing surveys in groups

It is about to reach WhatsApp and promises to be a success. We are referring to the new function that will allow you to create surveys in WhatsApp groups . It will no longer be necessary to go to external sites to make surveys to vote whether to go to one restaurant or another, to have lunch or dinner or whether to buy a gift or another, for example. It can be done comfortably on the same site and with the possibility of offering up to 12 answers to vote , something more than enough.

This new feature comes after WhatsApp has implemented reactions and with the idea of promoting groups . It is also a way to integrate everything on the same platform.

As expected, WhatsApp polls can be created easily. As easy as indicating within the group that you are going to create one, write the question and add the answers that the rest will have to vote on. The function will allow you to create up to 12 answers, so just short will not be left.

What is still unknown is how the votes will be seen in the chat, whether anonymously or with the name of each one. Perhaps WhatsApp gives the option to choose whether they are anonymous or not or directly anonymous so that each person can express themselves freely.

For security, the content of the surveys and the answers will be encrypted end-to-end , just as it happens with the conversations that are transmitted on WhatsApp, both individually and in groups.

The survey function has been in development for months, so it is expected that it will be implemented worldwide in a matter of weeks.
