Where the wind takes us

ventomobile.jpg Ventomobile is a new three-wheeler built by a team of aerospace engineering students from the University of Stuttgart (Germany) that only consumes wind energy .

The original tricycle has a rotor of two meters in diameter at the rear that turns the vehicle forward. The first tests in a wind tunnel have given very good results.

On August 23, Ventomobile will travel to the Netherlands to compete in the first edition of the Aeolus Race ( Racing Aeolus ) , which will face seven teams from different European universities and research institutes on a three to five kilometer route aboard vehicles driven by the wind.

Racing Aeolus is one of the many events scheduled within the Windenergy Events , a tribute to the use of wind energy that also includes the 2008 edition of the Tall Ships Regatta.
