A healthy way to replace the fluids we lose in summer is to eat fruit with high liquid content. Obviously, not all fruits and vegetables have the same amount of water as fiber, so not all of them refresh the same. The fruit that contains the most amount of water is strawberry (91.3%), followed by watermelon (91.2%), grapefruit (91%), melon (90%) and peach (88%). The sixth place is for the orange, with 87% liquid, while the pineapple occupies the seventh position. Blueberries, raspberries and apricots complete the "top ten".
The fruit that contains the least percentage of water is the banana (74%).
So, if you plan to make a delicious and refreshing fruit salad, it is better for it to be made with strawberry, melon, watermelon and peach than with banana and pineapple.
