This year marks the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. On August 31, 1997, the Queen of Hearts died in a car accident in Paris. What really happened that fateful night, Prince Harry wants to bring to light.

Paris – August 31, 1997 changed Prince Harry’s (37) life forever. At around 4 a.m., Princess Diana (36, † 1997) was pronounced dead at the Hôpital de la Salpêtrière in Paris after suffering a car accident a few hours earlier. The sudden death of his mother has apparently not let go of the Duke of Sussex to this day.

Tragic loss: Prince Harry had to say goodbye to Diana far too early

In his memoirs, Prince Harry wants to reveal what made him the man he is today. One of the most formative experiences is undoubtedly the early death of his mother. There are still rumors and theories surrounding Diana’s accident in Paris, which her youngest son, who was 12 at the time, now seems to want to finally get rid of.

According to media reports, Prince Harry sent a team of investigators to the French capital to reconstruct Lady Di’s last hours. According to “OK!”, the investigations have so far come to nothing, but the 37-year-old does not want to give up.

“I owe that to Mama”: Prince Harry wants clarity about Diana’s accidental death

“For my own peace of mind, I will do whatever I can to find out the truth. I owe that to Mom,” Harry is quoted as saying by “OK!” Meghan Markle’s (41) husband is said to have confided in a friend that there are “too many questions that remain unanswered”.

25 years ago, Diana’s car crashed into a tunnel pillar at more than 100 km/h while fleeing paparazzi, hours later the 36-year-old succumbed to her injuries. The public will only find out in a few months whether the team of investigators commissioned by Harry was able to bring new details to light. Prince Harry’s memoir, which is set to make shocking revelations, will be out later this year. Sources used: okmagazine.com
