If they ask us about an Italian meal, the second we will answer, almost certainly, pizza as the main food that is present throughout the world. It is an easy cooking food but not everyone gets the dough like the real experts : the Italians.

One day, Queen Margarita Teresa of Savoy , the first queen of Italy, bored with French cuisine, decided to try new things, including pizza. He liked it so much that he put it as food for the court and in honor of her, the margarita pizza was named after the queen.

It is estimated that 20% of restaurants around the world are pizzerias, so it is not surprising that it is the favorite food of most of the planet’s population. By many estimates, around 5 billion pizzas are sold worldwide each year. And Saturday night is the preferred day to eat them.
Why is the pizza round and they go in a square box?
One of the most asked questions about the Italian dish. Square boxes are simply cheaper, easier to open and close , and can be kept folded at all times until the moment we go to eat them.
A round box would require two separate lids, the bottom one would be attached to the pizza and the empty boxes would take up more space.
