5 things that increase sexual desire in women

According to Meredith Chivers, from the University of Queens (Canada), to have sex it is essential to “stimulate the brain of women.” Doctors, neuroscientists and psychologists have identified in the last decade some tricks that help to awaken female desire.

Chocolate
According to a study published in the journalThe Journal of Sexual Medicine, women who take at least one dark chocolate pill a day experience greater sexual desire and have more pleasant sexual intercourse. And what is more interesting: it works at any age.

Yoga
Regular yoga practice not only reduces stress and inflammation. Scientists from Harvard Medical School (USA) have verified that the repetition of the postures or “asanas” typical of this activity for at least twelve weeks increases desire, arousal, lubrication and the number of orgasms in women of 22 to 55 years.

Cholesterol in check
Katherine Esposito and her colleagues at the Seconda Universitá degli Studi in Naples (Italy) have shown that women with high levels of cholesterol and other fats in their blood experience a significant decrease in arousal, orgasm and desire. For her part, Annamaria Veronelli, from the University of Milan, has linked the problems of female sexual dysfunction with diabetes, obesity and an underactive thyroid gland.

Intelligence
In an experiment with more than a thousand pairs of twin sisters, scientists from King’s College London showed that women with more emotional intelligence – the ability to manage their own feelings and those of others – have twice as many orgasms as other women. According to Tim Spector, a co-author of the study, from the results there is no doubt that “intelligence is an advantage even in bed.”

A glass of wine
A couple of years ago, researchers from the University of Florence (Italy) recruited 800 women between the ages of 18 and 50 to study whether drinking red wine had an effect on female libido. The experiments, echoed by the magazine Journal of Sexual Medicine, revealed that consuming one or two glasses of wine a day increases sexual desire. Scientists suggest that it is because the antioxidants in this drink increase blood flow in key areas of the body.

Slaves and Disabled: Forced Medical Test Volunteers

The main problem to carry out medical research is to have willing volunteers for it. And if they come out for free, much better. This is the story of unethical behavior in medical research.
