The young woman is said to have stolen several million euros from a money transport company in Bremen. The police are initially silent about the exact amount. The suspect was responsible in the company for packing money ordered by customers and having them delivered by security transport, the investigators said.
“On May 21st, she stole several security bags filled with money in a roll container and then called in sick,” said the police. The shortfall was only discovered a few days later and reported by the company.
According to previous investigations, the woman loaded the roll container (with the number 06414) into a rental car, a black Mercedes Vito with registration number HB-DW 143. However, the license plates had also been stolen shortly before. The rental car was then parked again in the yard of the rental company.
The Bremen police have now been able to identify an assistant. According to the police and the public prosecutor’s office, the woman is in custody.
