Ulm – A 45 year old man has made a partial confession in a process of hundreds of sexual abuse of children.
At the start of the trial before the Ulm Regional Court on Monday, the man admitted that his half-sister and four of the girl’s friends had repeatedly stayed in his apartment and were completely or partially undressed. According to him, he also gave the girls alcohol to drink and touched them while they were undressed.
“First and foremost, I’m sorry. That was stupid of me back then, ”said the man in court. The public prosecutor’s office accuses the man of repeatedly sexually abusing his half-sister and four other girls between 1996 and 2005 when they stayed overnight in his apartment in Ulm.
According to the indictment, the man was guilty of sexual abuse of children in more than 400 cases, including 20 serious cases. In these he is said to have touched the girls in the genital area. However, the defendant denied this. The girls were between 6 and 13 years old at the time of the alleged crimes, the man 20 to 29 years old. dpa
