The summer does not want to set in completely in Germany. Because of the rainy weather, there is even another risk of flooding at the turn of the month.
Offenbach – The turn of the month becomes inconsistent when it comes to the weather *. Continuous rain creates an early autumn atmosphere and can even lead to renewed flooding * in some regions. Responsible for this is the low pressure area * “Nick”, which will probably have most of Germany under control until Wednesday (01.09.2021), as reported by the German Weather Service * (DWD).
From Saturday (08/28/2021) the continuous rain is to begin, especially in Bavaria and Saxony, whereby 100 liters per square meter can fall until Monday, as the meteorologist Jan Schenk reports on the weather.com portal. So far, it has not yet been possible to say exactly where the focus of the rain will be, which is why Hessen could also be affected. There should be dense clouds there, especially on Sunday and Monday, which bring rain * with them at maximum values of 18 degrees, as reported by the portal wetteronline.at.

Deep “Nick” causes storms and continuous rain all over Germany
The fact that almost the whole of Germany is under the influence of the depression and it is not yet clear where the greatest rainfall will occur also means that areas in Germany * threatened by floods should prepare for overflowing rivers. According to current forecasts, however, special attention is required on the Danube and the Oder, as reported by weather.com. Nevertheless, the situation is not as dangerous as in June, when the rain also caused flooding * in Hesse. The reason for this is the currently lower temperatures.
On the weekend and the following days there will also be occasional storms * across Germany, as the DWD meteorologist Sebastian Altnau explained. The areas on the North Sea in particular are likely to be spared from this. The unstable situation is expected to continue until around Wednesday (September 1st, 2021), after which the low pressure area “Nick” is expected to say goodbye to Germany.
