This summer comeback is surprising. There were already some hot phases with partly tropical temperatures this year, but they were always relatively short and brought with them thunderstorms * and storms *. What is now expected in Germany in September is different.

Hoch “Gaya” shows real perseverance. The nice weather should last several days in a row and provides Germany with plenty of sun and partly cloudless skies. Until well into the second week of September, Hoch “Gaya” should provide “lots of sunshine and warm days,” says graduate meteorologist Dominik Jung * from the Q.met weather service to wetter.net. “We expect more than 100 hours of sunshine in some regions by next week. That could be nicer than in the whole of August, ”reports Jung. And that’s not all.

The temperatures also rise to up to 28 degrees Celsius *. In the west and south-west of Germany, even around 29 or just under 30 degrees are possible. The best weather for grilling or swimming is already there on the first weekend in September. In addition, it remains largely dry. According to forecasts by the European Weather Service, no significant rain * should fall in almost all of Germany until Saturday (September 11, 2021).

But how long did the beautiful weather last for us in September? “It is currently not possible to say when the longest period of good weather will end in a row,” explains Jung. However, there are forecasts. The US weather model of the weather agency NOAA unfortunately sees somewhat more changeable weather in the west for Wednesday (September 8th, 2021). It looks better with the European weather model.
Accordingly, there should be plenty of sun and hardly any rain until September 11th. “A really exciting development. We haven’t had such a long dry phase in a row in Germany for months. The grill can be taken out again and, in many regions, swimsuits too, ”says weather expert Jung and has another tip ready.
