A girl is stabbed to death in a small town in Saxony. A suspect is caught after a few days. He is even younger than the 16-year-old victim.
Görlitz / Großröhrsdorf – After the violent death of a 16-year-old girl in Großröhrsdorf in East Saxony, the 15-year-old suspect comes to the closed ward of a psychiatric hospital. This was ordered by an investigating judge from the Bautzen district court, the public prosecutor and police department in Görlitz announced.
The youth was arrested on Thursday. The search of his home lasted until Friday. The investigation into the motive and the other circumstances would continue, it said.
The girl was found seriously injured in a garage complex on September 15 after being reported. Paramedics and emergency doctors resuscitated her, but she died in the hospital – according to the autopsy result of stab wounds. The alleged perpetrator and the victim knew each other from high school. The relationship between them is still unknown, as is the background, motive, course of events and circumstances. dpa
