In Germany, too, the daily number of cases in the Corona crisis increases again with the winter. The provision of the data by the RKI is being delayed more and more frequently.
Frankfurt – The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) has not published any current case numbers on the Corona situation this Friday (October 29). The RKI website only contains the following information: “The data is currently being updated. Please check back later. The case numbers are available from early morning. “
It is not the first time that the RKI asks for patience in the early morning and that the provision of the number of cases in the Corona crisis is delayed. This was also the case last week. As a rule, the RKI provides the case numbers on deaths, new infections and the seven-day incidence by noon at the latest.
Current case numbers in the Corona crisis: RKI reports an increase in new infections
The day before, Thursday, October 28th, the RKI reported a renewed increase in new infections in the corona crisis. According to this, another 28,037 people in Germany were infected with the Sars-CoV-2 pathogen within 24 hours. That was a significant increase compared to Wednesday (October 27th), on which, according to the RKI, 23,212 people were infected with the corona virus.
In addition, 126 people died on Thursday in connection with an illness of Covid-19. The day before, the RKI had reported 114 deaths.
