Formula 1 classification: race of the GP of Brazil and world of F1 2021

The Formula 1 World Championship qualification tightens after Lewis Hamilton’s victory in the Brazilian GP. The seven-time champion, who had not climbed to the top of the podium since Russia, rallied from 10th to claim his sixth win of the season.

After the Formula 1 Brazilian GP, Max Verstappen , who was second, had his advantage over Hamilton reduced in the World Championship to 14 points . Still, he remains at the top of the rankings. Mercedes also remains at the top of the classification of the Constructors’ World Cup, which arrived in Sao Paulo with a 1 point advantage over Red Bull and leaves with 11 . This is due, in addition to the victory of Lewis Hamilton, to the third place won by Valtteri Bottas . Sergio Pérez , meanwhile, saved a point for his team after setting the fastest lap of the race.

The Formula 1 Brazilian GP has also helped Ferrari to consolidate itself in third place in the Constructors’ World Championship standings. Although Charles Leclerc was fifth and Carlos Sainz was sixth; Lando Norris finished tenth and Daniel Ricciardo left in Sao Paulo. Thus, there are already 22.5 points that Ferrari has an advantage over McLaren.

Alpine, for its part, maintains fifth place in the Constructors’ World Championship although it is still tied with AlphaTauri , now with 112 points . Although Yuki Tsunoda finished fifteenth, Pierre Gasly finished seventh. Fortunately Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso neutralized the Frenchman’s result, being eighth and ninth respectively. Both in the dotted zone.

Outside of this, the Brazilian Formula 1 GP Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen , George Russell and Antonio Giovinazzi finished. After Tsunoda were Nicholas Latifi , Nikita Mazepin and Mick Schumacher . In addition to Ricciardo, Lance Stroll also did not finish the race in Sao Paulo.
