It is never too early to teach driver education to younger people, bearing in mind that they are road users and that, from the age of 15, they can get behind the wheel of an electric quad like the Citroën Ami. In fact, the Double Chevron mobility object is an ideal solution for them to travel to their school or institute safely, with a four-wheeled vehicle fully bodied and 100% sustainable, thanks to its electric technology.
After successful tests in two schools located in the Metropolitan Area of Madrid, SEK Castillo and San Patricio El Soto, the 100% electric Citroën Ami Youth Mobility School will be launched next year, a commitment to theoretical training and practice in road safety that has the seal of quality of the RACE Driving School. Its implementation in other schools of the Association of Independent Private Schools is already planned, although its expansion to other types of centers is not ruled out.
This initiative takes the form of New Mobility Awareness Workshops aimed at students over 15 years of age that will be taught in the facilities of the educational center itself. They will consist of a theoretical part that will focus on aspects such as the rules on circulation, traffic and active and passive safety systems and an interactive part in which they will be able to simulate the effects of alcohol and drug consumption on driving. The finishing touch of the day will be an experience behind the wheel of the Citroën Ami, guided by RACE monitors in a closed circuit similar to the one used in the AM driving license exam.
“We are delighted with this collaboration agreement with RACE for the creation of the 100% electric Citroën Ami Youth Mobility School. For Citroën it is an opportunity for young people to understand the importance of Road Safety with a very dynamic and attractive activity for them , and in which AMI is one of the protagonists, generating their first driving experience”, says Nuno Marques , Citroën Brand Manager for Spain and Portugal.
