In a way yes. When making value judgments and making decisions, men tend to see things "black or white" , while women "distinguish more shades of gray", as shown by a recent study by the University of Warwick (UK) published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior magazine.
In an experiment with 113 people who were asked to categorize 50 objects, Zachary Estes and his colleagues observed that while they tended to absolutely rate objects in one category ("The tomato is a fruit" or "The tomato is not a fruit "), one in four women surveyed chose to assign objects a partial category (" The tomato can be considered in a certain way a fruit "). "This does not mean that one method is inherently better than another," Estes clarifies.
