With the new 508 SW , Peugeot lands on the market with a high-end shooting brake with one of the most compelling designs that we can find, thanks to the comfort offered by a saloon, the generosity of a SW and the sportiness of a coupe. in addition to quality and technological performance of the highest level. With a low and dynamic silhouette, the model stands out for its striking image, which manages to perfectly combine sporty elegance with great practicality, which is manifested in its habitability and a large boot.
In a European market in which segment D represents a total of 1,400,000 vehicles , the proportion of breaks has remained the majority for a decade, despite the constant increase in other offers such as SUVs. In fact, the offer in this segment is divided between the more traditional bet of large , high-volume breaks , represented above all in the ranges of generalist brands, and a premium alternative, which combines the practicality of a break with a design much more dynamic. In this context, the great advantage of the 508 SW over other competitors is its versatility, as its small turning radius makes it shine in any field, from facing city center traffic to taking long trips on the highway.
The CEO of Peugeot himself, Jean Philippe Imparato , highlights that “after the radical fastback sedan-coupé, the break has arrived, just as incisive and amazing. With the new Peugeot 508 SW, the brand confirms its transformation and expands its range with a model with a spectacular silhouette and performance ”. “In this way, our objective of making Peugeot the best generalist high-end brand becomes a reality,” adds Imparato.
