New trailer for "Time": Night Shyamalan wants terror in your summer

With the desire we have to go on vacation and Night Shyamalan is getting scared. Time, is the new psychological thriller from the director of the plot twist par excellence, in which this time the mysteries and suspense that the director wants to convey are located on a paradisiacal beach, where a family is preparing to spend a period of rest. The parents, who are played by Gael García Bernal and Vicky Krieps will try to discover and reverse the traumatic event they are going through: their children age rapidly for no explainable reason in this trailer. The story is inspired by the graphic novel Sandcastle by Frderik Peters and Oscar Lévy and is the first film since Shyamalan shot the natural sequel to his curious superhero and villain story, Glass. Tiempo was originally intended to premiere on February 26, but once again the pandemic has delayed it and finally until July 30, when it will hit Spanish theaters. A date, perhaps something more marked due to the summer theme that the film has. Shot in the Dominican Republic, it features a cast full of young talents with well-known faces other than Bernal, with Eliza Scalen, Thomasin McKenzie, Aron Pierre, Alex Wolff, Rufus Sewell, Embeth Davidtz and Abbey Lee. The most memorable film of the Indian director, who has always handled suspense and the so-called mystery boxes really well, with which he keeps the viewer totally hooked by posing mysteries every so often. Something that worked like a charm for him on films like Protege and Signs.Night Shyamalan began her career irregularly until she filmed the well-known The Sixth Sense, which was followed by a series of good proposals, but then she entered a loop in which she fit several commercial and critical failures. The Incident, Airbender: The Last Warrior, and After Earth are a series of failed projects in a row that few directors could lift. But on the contrary, the director returned to his beginnings with the surprising continuation of The Protected; Multiple and Glass. The hopeful return of a director who at least never leaves anyone indifferent. Will Time confirm good form or will it be another stone in the way for Shyamalan?
