After the cold May, now comes early summer. At the weekend it will be significantly warmer and sunnier in Germany.
Offenbach (dpa) – With Hoch Waltraud, early summer is slowly arriving in Germany. There is more sun again and the temperatures are gradually rising, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach on Saturday.
On Sunday, the values are expected to rise regionally to over 20 degrees, punctually for the meteorological beginning of summer on Tuesday even over 25 degrees in some cases.
On Sunday night it is partly cloudy in the Alps as well as in the east, but the showers subside, as the meteorologists announced. During the day only loose cloud fields pass through, sun-seekers can look forward to it. The maximum values are usually between 18 and 23 degrees, at the North Sea and in the Ore Mountains it is cooler. According to the forecast, on Monday it should remain sunny or slightly cloudy – with temperatures of up to 25 degrees in the west. On Tuesday it will probably be a little warmer.
