Xiaomi presents a 200W fast charge: from 0% to 100% in just 8 minutes!

When we buy a mobile phone and we start using it for the first time, the most common thing is that we enjoy its use to the fullest throughout the day, especially without the need to be constantly aware of the charger of the phone. drums.

But, even in the first days of use, one of the main problems is the time it takes for the battery to charge, so that, in many cases, the most common thing is to leave the device charging throughout the night.

However, as we have already explained to you on a previous occasion, this would not be very appropriate, especially when we are in the habit of doing it continuously, every day. You know why? Because, even if we think that we will have a battery for the next day, by recharging it to 100%, the only thing that we will be achieving with this is reducing its capacity, so that, from one moment to another, this capacity will begin to fail and they will end up appearing many of the typical problems that affect cell phone batteries.

As far as the charge itself is concerned, there is no doubt that one of the most cumbersome moments is waiting for the device to charge, since, unless we use a fast charger, the most normal thing is that we have to wait quite a long time. Up to now.

There is no doubt that, in recent years, the Xiaomi brand has become one of the undisputed leaders in the field of fast charging . For example, the Chinese manufacturer developed a 120W fast wired charge, while, with the Mi 11 range, it popularized the 67W fast charge, capable of charging a 5000 mAh battery in 48 minutes.

And, as expected, Xiaomi wanted to go a little further. This is how Hypercharge has arrived, a fast charging technology developed by this company, which goes up to 200W .

To announce it, Xiaomi has just published a video on YouTube showing a device capable of fully charging a 4000 mAh battery of a smartphone in just 8 minutes!

During the sequence, we can see a modified Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro during the recharging phase. As you can see, in just 8 minutes of cable charging, the 4000 mAh battery has been fully charged, going from 0 to 100% in very few minutes. Looking in more detail, we can discover that the level of autonomy rises to 10% autonomy in just 44 seconds . Thus, the autonomy of 50% is reached after only 3 minutes .

Clearly, the cargo is far ahead of the solutions developed by the competition.

Xiaomi also announces 120W wireless charging

Furthermore, Xiaomi has taken the opportunity to lift the veil on 120W wireless charging technology .

As we can see again in the same video, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is capable of recovering 100% autonomy in just 15 minutes through a Qi charging base. This means that it only takes one minute to reach 10%, and 7 minutes to reach 50%.

Of course, for the moment the company has not indicated anything about when these new load modes could be available. Although it would be foreseeable that they will be by the end of the year.
