Read more about Paris and Toulouse.
Toulouse is located in the Tarn region of Languedoc-Roussillon. It is a wonderful city, which many visitors strangely ignore, possibly because it is known as an aviation hub that today is home to Aerospatiale, which produces the Airbus and the Ariane space rocket.
Toulouse is where the Canal du Midi meets the Garonne River. If you are in the mood for a truly relaxing vacation, I highly recommend taking a canal barge trip with European Waterways via Gascony in Rosa.
