The weather in Germany is clearly divided into two parts. In the northwest it can get very cool, in the southeast there is a risk of thunderstorms.
Offenbach – warm, humid air in the southeast, dry and mild in the northwest: Germany will maintain this dichotomy of the weather for the next few days.
"Until the end of the week, storm-like thunderstorms including heavy rain must be expected in the southeast half," said meteorologist Marcus Beyer from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach on Tuesday. There the temperatures climb up to 26 degrees, sometimes it can get a little warmer.
For the north-west, however, no storms are in sight, with temperatures around 20 degrees there it is significantly cooler than in the rest of the republic. At night, the values drop down to 7 to 10 degrees, while in the south-east it remains mild at night at 16 to 17 degrees. According to the DWD, another heat wave is not yet in sight for Germany. dpa
