It is never late if happiness is good. Finally, Activision has released a new patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone that will significantly reduce the size of both titles.
Through the blog of the franchise, he has announced that we will free, at least, 30 GB in our systems if we have the two complete games installed. This update is scheduled to arrive on March 31, although it is not exactly small. Here’s the size for each device in Warzone :
- PS5: 52 GB
- PS4: 52 GB
- Xbox Series X / Xbox Series S: 57,8 GB
- Xbox One: 57,8 GB
- PC: 52,4 GB (Warzone) / 133,6 GB (Warzone y Modern Warfare)
With such a data download, it seems contradictory to reduce the final size, but it will be. Also, future updates shouldn’t be that big. As explained from the company, the space saving is due to the optimization of various files and content packages .
Activision cautions that some users will have to reinstall content packs to get the optimized versions. Be that as it may, here is the total size that you will free up of space per platform:
- PS5: 10.9 GB (Warzone) / 30.6 GB (Warzone y Modern Warfare)
- PS4: 10.9 GB (Warzone) / 30.6 GB (Warzone y Modern Warfare)
- Xbox Series X|Series S: 14.2 GB (Warzone) / 33.6 GB (Warzone y Modern Warfare)
- Xbox One: 9.13 GB (Warzone) / 14.2 GB (Warzone y Modern Warfare)
- PC: 11,8 GB (Warzone) / 30,6 GB (Warzone y Modern Warfare)
Let’s remember that a few weeks ago the curious situation occurred that if you had all the content installed on a 500 GB PS4, it would be very possible that you did not have enough space for the arrival of the new season.
