It is never late if happiness is good. The new batch of games that reinforce Microsoft’s desktop catalog since the last generation includes a saga that was being missed by its users : if you have a physical or digital copy of ‘Street Fighter IV’ you can now recover your game on Xbox One.
Ryu had recently debuted on Xbox One with the reissue of ‘Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3’, but we were not expecting this double round with the original World Warriors and all their downloadable content. Of course, for now we can only play the standard edition of the game , so it is to be expected that ‘Super Street Fighter IV’ and later will take a little longer to return.
‘Street Fighter IV’ was released on consoles in early 2009 after its passage through the arcade and a huge hiatus from the license. For the first time in the main saga, the characters would abandon the sprites to adapt to the three-dimensional graphics, making a very interesting use of Cell Shading and preserving the characteristic style of the Capcom illustrators , once again establishing the fighting game genre after a few years in those that seemed in the doldrums.

Along with this classic from the last generation, it has been confirmed that the games ‘Luxor 2’, ‘Poker Smash’ and ‘Madballs Babo: Invasion’ are once again available on the Microsoft desktop, although it would be unfair to distribute the protagonism, especially having taking into account that the saga had settled on PS4 with the exclusivity on consoles of ‘Street Fighter V’ and the adaptation of ‘Ultra Street Fighter IV’.

This announcement is no coincidence: this same year the 30th anniversary of ‘Street Fighter’ is celebrated and you can celebrate it together with the 12 original fighters on PS4, Xbox One, PC and even on Switch with the imminent ‘Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers’. Now, after this return we are impatient to see what Capcom will be saving for the month of August.
