We are experiencing a true saturation of zombie games, but considering that ‘The Walking Dead’ (both in comic and serial format) has proven to be a different approach to the undead apocalypse, I think we can also expect something different from the title being developed by Telltale Games. As usual in the company, the adventure will come to us in digital format and by chapters.
The first of them will star the hitherto unknown Lee Everett , a former convict who after leaving prison will find himself in the midst of chaos. Being part of his fight for survival we will meet characters from the original story such as Glenn and Hershel , but not with Rick who for the moment has not yet awakened from his coma.
To better publicize their adventure, the guys at Telltale have started publishing a series of development videos titled Playing Dead. Guests of all kinds will parade through them, including the creator of the original comic, Robert Kirkman. You can find the first episode below.
To complete the round of news about ‘The Walking Dead’, I also bring you a small batch of images. I really like the visual aspect that they are achieving for the title, halfway between the drawing of the comic and the realism of the series. Now it is necessary that the game itself is also up to par.
