But any of those news has just been overcome with this story that comes to us from the United States in which a baby of only 10 months ended up updating his parents’ Tesla Model X and made it autonomous, after buying an update that has cost them 10,000 dollars, about 8,400 euros.
A baby updates his mother’s Tesla with a purchase of 8,400 euros
The story has been shared by the baby’s own mother on Tiktok , showing confirmation of the purchase , which was not realized until the bank statements arrived. Although it may seem surprising, it was completely impossible for him to cancel the update since the “Complete Self-Driving Package” , valued at $ 10,000 , could only be canceled within the first 48 hours after purchase. Not knowing what the baby had done, his parents only found out when the bank sent them his weekly statement.
According to the mother herself on social networks, she was cooking and had left her ten-month-old baby playing with her iPad , when she realized it was too late: her son had entered the Tesla store and had made the purchase so the Tesla Model X estate car had just become a fully autonomous car.
As the mother explained, for all those who asked her how the bank did not notify them of such a high charge , the credit card was linked to her Tesla account to make direct and fast payments so she did not know nothing until the extract arrives.

With resignation, the baby’s mother has published another video on Tik Tok, in which she shows the new autonomous functions of her Tesla, from which we see that she is now able to leave the garage alone and open its doors just by using the smartphone or the car remote.
