And on the fortieth anniversary of his last race, the Scorpion brand pays tribute to him with the launch of the Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally special series, a limited edition that will be available in just 695 units worldwide .
The latest version of this top – of – the – line model is a tribute to Abarth ‘s racing history . In fact, racing has always been part of its DNA and, thanks to technological ‘transfer’, the most innovative solutions, tested on the track to increase performance and reliability, are applied to normal production cars, guaranteeing a adrenaline-filled driving experience. Thus, the new special edition of Abarth is a true concentrate of technology that champions the founding values of the brand: performance and style.
If the Abarth 695 Tributo 131 Rally stands out for anything, it is for its 180 hp 1.4 T-Jet engine and 250 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. Top speed is 225 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in just 6.7 seconds. It also includes Koni FSD shock absorbers on both axles and a specific braking system with Brembo aluminum 4-piston calipers at the front with 305mm and 240mm ventilated discs at the rear. The equipment is completed by 17″ black alloy wheels with a diamond finish and the ‘Record Monza Sovrapposto’ exhaust system, an evolution of the Record Monza system, now with four vertically superimposed terminals. The ‘Spoiler ad Assetto Variabile’, which can be adjustable in 12 positions , with a tilt from 0° to 60°, improves cornering stability and provides quicker response on mixed roads.For example, with a tilt of 60° and a speed of 200 km/h, the downforce increases to 42 kg.
