If you are in the process of looking for a job, surely this interests you. An American company is looking for someone to watch 13 horror movies in 10 days and give their opinion on them. In return, the lucky person will receive 1,300 dollars, 1,100 euros in exchange .
Undoubtedly, a curious job offer that has been published by the magazine ‘Financebuzz’. The goal is to find out if horror movies with a bigger budget are more scary than those that are produced with less money . To verify this, the candidate will have to wear a bracelet that will monitor their heartbeat while watching the tapes.
From the company they explain that in many cases horror films are scary because of the story , not because of the budget that the production studio has. Many of the best films were made with small changes and a very small portfolio, compared to the large productions of well-known franchises.
One of the best is Paranormal Activity , which was produced for just $ 15,000 and grossed $ 193 million at the box office .
“In homage to the arrival of the quintessential horror season, we at FinanceBuzz are dying to know whether high-budget scary movies give better scares than low-budget ones.”
Well @FinanceBuzz is my new favorite company. They want to pay someone $1,300 to watch 13 horror movies in October.
How spooky-cool is that? 💀🪓https://t.co/KxAQYLFmS5 #Horror #HorrorCommunity #HorrorFans pic.twitter.com/GBEhJ4zCQy

The selected candidate will have to see the 13 horror films between October 9 and 18 . After viewing each one, you will need to complete a series of questions and give your opinion about what has appeared to you.
The 13 films are as follows: Saw, The Abode of Fear, A Quiet Place 1 and 2, Paranormal Activity, Anabell, Candyman, Sinister, Let Me Out, The Purge, Halloween (2018), Insidious, The Blair Witch Project .
To enjoy all the films, the company will give 50 dollars, 42 euros in exchange, so that they assume all the expenses derived from viewing them: rent, food …
The only requirement is that the candidates must be US citizens . To sign up for the offer, you have to go to the ‘Finance Buzz’ website and answer a series of questions: «What is your favorite horror movie and why?», «Do you have any special memories related to horror movies? What would you like to share? » or “Are you sure you can commit to watching 13 horror movies between October 9 and 18?”
