FunAbsolute zero

Absolute zero

Approximately absolute zero is −273.15 ° C. Theoretically, scientists can affirm that this is the minimum temperature achievable by a molecule or body, because at that level there would be no atomic vibration. In fact, at O Kelvin (−273.15 ° C), all substances would appear in solid mode and the molecules would neither move nor even vibrate.

In laboratories on Earth, physicists can get very close to this temperature, but scientists claim that it is impossible to reach absolute zero. In fact, the lowest temperature ever achieved was obtained by cooling a gas in a magnetic field to half a nanokelvin (that is, 5 · 10-10 K) above the theoretical minimum, absolute zero.

Lowering the temperature to unsuspected limits is extremely useful for scientists, as certain materials completely change their behavior . This is the case of superconductors, which are currently used in magnetic levitation systems.

Slaves and Disabled: Forced Medical Test Volunteers

The main problem to carry out medical research is to have willing volunteers for it. And if they come out for free, much better. This is the story of unethical behavior in medical research.
